Anonymous Questions Are Here!

If you take a look up top, you’ll see a new page entitled ‘Ask.’

To the brave souls who have contacted me via various places to ask questions, I salute you!

I know that questions about sex and sexuality aren’t always easy to ask in forums where people will know who you are. It makes it a lot more complicated to ask questions and get your hands on information you need.

To combat that a bit, I’ve put in a page where you can anonymously ask whatever questions you have about our topics – chronic illnesses/disabilities, self-love, self-care, relationships, sex, and sexuality. I will do my best to answer and, when I cannot, I’ll dig to try to find information that is relevant to you.

You can also use that page to suggest chat topics, post ideas, podcast guests, and more!

(As for why Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony adorns the page? I have a problem. Rainbow Dash is fearless and a badass. She’s also a little genderqueer – at least, that’s what I tell myself. There is a reason my hair has been several different colors this year and she’s part of it.)

  1. Not long ago like two weeks I had sex with my boyfriend . We used a condom and he cummed and now my period is two days late from when it was due . What could that mean ? Am I pregnant or ? Help !

    1. It could be! Condoms are pretty reliable, but like every birth control method, they aren’t 100% effective. It could also be from a lot of other things – stress, being more physically active than usual, etc. I know I’ve had my period show up a week later than usual in similar situations.

If your period gets to where it’s a week late, I definitely would snag a pregnancy test or visit a Planned Parenthood near you for one. Hope that helps Ruby!!

  2. I had sex with my boyfriend last night and the condom snapped. He finished inside me without realising. I went to the docotor and got the morning after pill this morning but my period seems to still be going. I’ve researched but never found answers. Does the morning after pill still work while your on the last few days of your period…

    1. That’s a tough one. I’m sorry that you’ve had this experience.

That pill is good for up to 72 hours after unprotected sex. I would still take it if you’re in that time range and on your period because, unfortunately, sperm can stay alive and active for up to a week in your bits. Definitely consider taking it.

Just also want to add that there are contraindications and that pill doesn’t always work well for a variety of people (like, if you’re over around 150 pounds).
